My internal
vision is how I see myself a few years from now. I see myself thriving
in a career that I love, and having a family that makes me insanely happy.
My internal mission is how I will reach this personal level of
success. I will exert my best efforts in building my career in the music world,
taking pride in what I do; all the while keeping in mind that family comes
first!
My external
vision is how I see myself impacting the world. I see myself making a
positive difference to society and the music industry. My external
mission is how I will make this positive change to the world. I will
strive to bring joy and peace to individuals through my innovative and creative
music products, and services!
Les Brown gives an
inspiring talk about what motivates him. In hearing this, I realized my
motivations are not far off from his. My motivation to pursue
my dreams comes from the power of three different things: Love, music, and
business. Although it sounds cliché, love can move mountains. As religion tells
us, love is patient and love is kind. Everyone wants love from
their significant other, their family members, their friends,
and even from society. I am a total hippy and I want to make the world a better
place because I love every living thing. Secondly, my passion for music drives
me to be apart of the industry. Music makes me feel that life is worth living,
and I want to be apart of the joy music brings to people everywhere. Lastly, I
am fascinated with business as it makes up the human world. I want to be
involved in the puzzle. That being said I want to help change a company to be
the best it can be, and I want to build my own company.
In conclusion, the
correlation between my vision, mission, and motivation is very strong.
They all relate to the same ideas and values. Looking back on my words, I see
that my motivations create my vision and mission. If my motivations were
different, my vision and mission would also be different. I believe it all
boils down to who I am, and why I’m here.
